The rally marks 13 years since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began a relentless campaign to eradicate the spiritual movement Falun Gong. This event will call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China and celebrate the Chinese citizens who are taking a principled and peaceful stand by rejecting the violence and inequity of Communist Party rule.
Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) is a traditional spiritual practice of the Buddha school. It consists of gentle, meditative exercises and a moral philosophy centered on the tenets of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.
