Description

The Pediatric critical care RN oversees and directs the care of the critically ill pediatricpatient. The Pediatric critical care RN is responsible for the care of surgery patients and patients with medical conditions including respiratorydiseases, GI disorders and Oncologic disorders, and other patients meeting pediatric admission criteria. Serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well:coordinated patient care. Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications::

I. Position Requirements:

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse; BLS : Healthcare provider. PALS required within the first 6 months of hire.

B. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

C. Experience: One:year experience in acute care preferred.
