Sales Engineer - Denver

sales engineer opening based out of the Denver, CO or surrounding area. This Medical Device company is seeking a proven sales professional with a very strong passion for electronics and electromechanical devices. Working out of your home the right disciplined individual will research potential new customers in markets including, but not limited to medical and biomedical, design and contract manufacturing, clinical laboratory research, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and industrial processing. Up to 50 travel out of state to mostly Mid West States. Must have a BS degree, (engineering strongly preferred), a high technical aptitude and a proven track record of a successful history of long:term sales as well as building customer relations.ResponsibilitiesIdentify multiple sales opportunities, conduct product presentations for customers and potential customers and drive pending customers projects to sales closureConvey specific customer application details in conjunction with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Purchasing and Sales managementAttend trade shows speaking to existing customers, researching potentially new customers, evaluate competition and demonstrate products in front of groups with poise and professionalismQualify sales leads and respond to customer inquiries pertaining to basic technology, price quotes, order status, as well as delivery statusRequirementsBachelors of Science Engineering or equivalent, along with a minimum of five years of outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical technology related outside sales experience is preferredAbility to read, analyze and interpret basic outline and dimensional drawings of components, wiring diagrams, customer specs, technical reports, and other correspondencesMust be able to demonstrate products in front of groups with poise and professionalism as well as possess the ability to identify sales opportunities when discussing customer applicationsMust have a proven track record of a successful history of long:term sales and building customer relationsMust be able and willing to travel to Midwest and Western U.S. territories to conduct sales presentations
